Learning Express Library

Lesson 3 - Learning Express:
The video show you how to take advantage of everything Learning Express Library has to offer. Including how to create a new account, login to the library, move around quickly and search for and use their products, and get help if needed.
Next, I went to the Career Center and chose: Prepare for Nursing School. Under Entrance Test you find the subjects you will be tested. For example: Chemistry, General Science, Math Ability and Reading Comprehension. It's amazing that you can prepare for tests and get help for your weekness in one of the catagories before you take the final tests. What a great site. On the left side: Tests, eBooks and Tutorials. Checked out the eBooks and found soo much information. Everything you need to learn to improve your test scores is right in front of you. Great site, plenty of receources and guidance.
In my years of studying I had to search through books, books and more books. 
The Resumes site will be very beneficial for our patrons, who always look for a professional template.

Lesson 2 - Chilton Library, Mango Languages and Tumblebook Library
Basic: Maintenance 30,000 miles: 1st. Inspect the brake linings; replace if necessary; 2nd. Replace the engine air cleaner filter; 3rd. Adjust the parking brake on vehicles equipped with four wheel disc brakes.
2. No Recall notice on my car. 3. Information on brakes on my car: Brake Warning Light- parking brake; Anti-Lock Brake (ABS) - if a brake system malfunktion have it serviced immediately.

Lesson 2 - NEW! Mango Languages, Tumblebook Library and Chilton Library

Chilton Library: Our library has those old, heavy books from 1962 - 1996. There are great resources for mechanics and people who like to remodel old cars. I was amazed with the website, and how quickly I could find with just a keyword, etc. I put the website on top of my "website list "because this will save us a lot of time to answer patrons questions.
My car a Dodge/Nitro 2011 required a few items at the 32,000mile mark: replacement of air filter and engine air filter, check the elctronics, etc. I have a great mechanic, who takes care of my car and he is familiar with the Chilton website. I am in good hands.
Mango Languages:Watch the video and was impressed with the detailed explanation and meaning of particular phrase or words.The pronunciation to me is the most important in learning any new languages. The grammar and the sentence structor is difficult in most languages.With Mango you have the "Grammar Notes", color coded instructions, and you can repeat the lessons as many times you wish. The material is well presented and you almost feel connected with the teacher. 
Tumblebook Library:  Great animated site, talking picture book, short videoes, and chapter books for any reading level. Puzzles and Games you can read the book in Enlish/Spanish or play the puzzle. Easy to navigate-brightly colored. Story Book provided with a synopsis read online, sorted by tittle, author, reading level or the newest book. Book review: great site for young and old and you can choose - Enlish, France or Spanish language. Great site!
Great resource for after school program, library or at home.
