Lesson 4: SIRS IssuesResearcher and Discoverer. I started out to watch the video on both the SIRS Discover and Researcher. The video was short, however the information on both issues were enormous. The left-sidebar on the homepage of Discoverer list an array of features: Nonfiction ebooks; Pictures; Animal Facts; Maps-US and World; Nations and Regions, etc. I printed out a map and suprised how clear the copy was and easy the process. The SIRS Issues Researcher provide the insight into critical social issues. Social bookmarking, note organizers, and a critical thinking skills tutor to support the research process from start-to-finish. The Discover site is designed for grades K-9, and Researcher for grades 6-12. It doesn't make a difference how old you are, the sites are joy to explore.
